Our club's objectives are:

To increase our creative skills, knowledge and technical abilities in the craft and art of photography.

To share our photographic knowledge and experience with others and have fun doing it.

We are so fortunate in Edson to live in a region of Canada where the photographic opportunities are seemingly endless. Within sight of the majestic Canadian Rockies, surrounded by the colorful boreal forest of the Alberta Foothills to the western gate of the Great Plains. Our region is steeped in frontier history, several coal mining ghost towns lay to the south in the Coal Branch area of Robb. Teeming with wildlife this is an area where animals such as the Grizzly Bear, Moose, Elk, the Wolf , Bald Eagles, Cranes and just about any other photographers dream subject may roam. There is no doubt this is a photographers paradise. Come see what we have to offer each other, check out Edson, Alberta's newest community resource.

Whatever your skills, The Edson Photography Club welcomes you. We are a group of like minded enthusiasts getting together to learn this wonderful art form and enhance our skills. EPC meets the first Monday of the month 7:30 pm at Holy Redeemer High School 4912 12th Avenue.
Doors open at 7:00 pm.

Several times through out the year the EPC will host events and galleries, such as photography workshops by local and renowned world class professional photographers. EPC sets up photographic galleries around town from time to time to showcase our members works. EPC participates in local Arts Community events such as the Rotary Arts Festival, Creative Campus Arts Days and CANOE (Community Arts Network of Edson) events.
